Hi, I’m Lisa Storey

Founder of Leadership Knowledge Solutions (LKS), and someone who’s spent over two decades building leaders, cultures, and companies from the ground up.

My career started the way a lot of great stories do, casually, in retail, while still at school. I got hooked early: the pace, the people, the challenge, the chance to make things better. That obsession turned into a career.

At Sanity, I learned what real leadership looked like on the ground customer service, performance, accountability, resilience.

Then at Cotton On Group, there was growth, lots of it, and fast.

When I joined in 2003, there were 32 stores.
When I left 21 years later, there were:

• 1200+ stores

• 7 brands

• Presence in 20+ countries

I played a key role in:

• Culture creation

• Global expansion

• People strategy

• Leadership development

• Operational systems

• Succession planning

And through it all, the part I loved most wasn’t the scale, it was the people.

The emerging leaders. The stuck managers. The burnt-out high performers who needed someone to coach them through it.

That’s why I started Leadership Knowledge Solutions (LKS)

To bring emotionally intelligent, real-world, no-fluff leadership support to people navigating the chaos of leading in high-stakes environments.

I believe leadership isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, growing through the mess, and learning how to lead with clarity, EQ, and actual human connection.
